Hello = Bonjour

Yes/No = Oui/Non

Goodbye (for now) = Au revoir

Please = S’il vous plait

Thank you = Merci

You’re welcome = il n’y a pas de quoi

Excuse me = Excusez-moi

These are just a few of the very basic phrases you will start out learning and with the immersion method you will not only have visual pointers but you will also be able to hear how the words are pronounced by native French speakers. Using both of these things combined enables you to absorb and retain the lessons more effectively.
