Is learning to speak French your long time goal? When you start learning French, you have to start learning the expressions first and can slowly move on to phrases.

Do you want to learn a foreign language? Then start learning to speak French. When you start learning a foreign language, you have to start learning the expressions first and can slowly move on to the phrases. Take for example the word “robe”, which denotes “dress” in French. Try to use it in diverse ways until the word and its meaning gets stuck in your head.

While procuring a French phrase book, language learning software or attending language classes will certainly help you while learning to speak French, you must still consider how you’d actually be able to make use of your French communicative skills efficiently. This will be more helpful if you do not live in a French speaking country because you will not have the opportunity to practice your new skill set with the native speakers of French.

Apart from doing the regular exercises, you can also start learning to speak French more effectively by having a pen pal who will help you practice your French communicative skills. Similarly, you can also help your pen pal by correcting the language he or she is practicing. You can find the right pen pal from language exchange forums and chat rooms that render their services free of cost. Once you find the right pen pal do not share any details other than the actual language exchange because you never know who the other person really is.

With the advent of new technologies, learning to speak French and perfecting the languages with help of a pen pal is made more easy. Emails, chat, and Skype calls offer a more personalized and easy to use communication tools that will enhance your learning process

While having a pen pal will better help you while learning to speak French, do not just confide on him or her to perfect your communicative skills, you must never avoid your own lessons as well.

In case things are already starting to become somewhat dragging and you’re starting to lose interest in learning to speak French, modify your “lessons” by participating in new activities that are still related to France. For example, you can absorb yourself in French culture by watching French movies without subtitles or listen to French music and try to understand the lines all by yourself. Ask your pen pal for some good recommendations regarding movies and music performers or look them up on the internet. You can even try visiting some authentic French restaurants and learn the names of some delicacies. This will not only help you learn some new French words but also in learning the French way of life.

As long as you are interested in learning the language it certainly won’t be problematic for you to find some way to make learning to speak French interesting. Once you feel like you can carry a conversation all by yourself in French, then why not take a step and finally pay France a visit? This will be the ultimate test to try your French- speaking skills.

Do you want to learn how to speak French like a real native?

Many of my friends from the US learned the French language in their early age, but most of them can’t speak properly because they forgot almost everything. As you probably guessed, the key is to practice and speak regularly.

In this article, I am going you introduce you to my proven method to speak French faster. This works for any language by the way, I used my method to learn English, Spanish and Arabic in no time flat.

1. Don’t do what every over people do

You need to realize that you are unique and that you have to decide yourself how you will learn. This is the most important step.

You also need to know that there are several learning types. You need to find out what is the best way to learn for you. As an example, last week. I was talking with one of my old friends who is trying to learn a new language, and he told me that he can’t learn without images. He noticed that whenever he learned a new word, he would memorize it faster when he can see a picture.

Others prefer to listen and memorize.

Please don’t overlook this step because it will save you a lot of your precious time.

2. Complete Immersion

When I say immersion, I am not trying to sell you a ticket to go to Paris. I am just telling that you need to surround yourself with French speakers. If you can find native speakers or travel, it’s better, but it’s not required.

Do you know someone who is learning French in your town? If not, you can find someone on the Internet and speak with him on a daily basis. You can even use skype or hotmail.

Talking to someone else is one of the most powerful way to learn another language because it will force you to search the words you don’t know.

All languages carry with them a degree of difficulty, and French is no exception. In this article, an experienced language teacher examines some of the beginner problems students have, and provides ways to avoid them and make learning French far easier.

When you undertake to learn any language you are opening yourself up to a completely new learning experience. With any new learning experience you are likely to experience differences, and therefore difficulties of various sorts. That means if you are looking to learn French beginner problems may occur. In this article I am going to point out the main issues for those wanting to learn French.

The first French beginer problems you are likley to encounter lie in the realm of pronunciation. French is notoriously difficult for English speakers to pronounce well, but if you bear in mind certain factors, you can helpt to keep this problem at bay.

First of all, take time learning the French sounds, before you emnark on further study. Learn words and simple phrases to start off with, copying the voices you hear on the audio component to your course (and, by the way, a French audio comonent featuring native French speakers is indispensable, so dont try and learn without one), and comparing your pronunciation to that of the native speakers.

When you are comfortabel with the pronunciation, then you should start to learn the mechanics, or grammar of the language, using your course, be it book and CD, or software.

Your next obstacle will probably be the linguistic concepts of the language. What you hae to remember is that French and English are, gramatically, very different. If you have heard that you can just pick up a language without studying the grammar of that language, then you have been mislead. Such an approach is a recipe for disaster. Take your time to learn the basic concepts early on, and admittedly, while you might experience some frustration (which is a typical side effect of learning anything new, and nothing to be alarmed about) early on, you will find it benefits you greatly further down the line.

The third of the French beginner problems we shall look at, and a typical one I have noted is that of students complaints about being unable to understand French. In the early days it is to be expected that you will be unable to understand fluent French. The problem lies simply in not having the desired level of French at your disposal. Of course, some French will allow you to understand some, or on occasion, all of what is being said or communicated. But with patience you will find that, the more French you learn, the better your understanding of French will be.

The secret to learning any language is persistence. You will encounter problems, and difficulties but if you keep on keeing on, French beginner problems will soon give way to understanding and success.

Is it possible to learn French quick? It is when you have the right information at your fingertips. This article will guide you through what you need to do to learn French fast.

In this article I am going to show you some ways to learn French quick, if you need to. Languages are generally regarded as being hard to learn, and with good reason. French is no exception, but if you are really determined to learn French quick, I believe you can do so, with the right mindset, and the right language tools at your disposal.

Read our review of Rocket French.

First, lets talk about mindset, because this will determine whether you finally do learn French quickly, or whether you lose your way and give up. You need to be motivated to the point where learning French becomes what motivational speaker Anthony Robbins calls your magnificent obsession.

Make learning French your obsession for a few weeks and youll have at your disposal, a powerhouse of determination you can call on when the going gets tough. And let me be open about this now if you are going to learn French quick, the going will get tough. Get your mindset right now, though, and youll be well on your way even before you start learning.

Lets talk about actually learning French now. You are going to need a really good, solid basic French course, preferably one based upon dialogues and conversations. This course will also need to have accessible grammatical explanations that cover what you need to know, no more and no less. You will also need an audio component with the course, recorded by native speakers.

Courses you might consider that fulfil the criteria are Teach Yourself French, Linguaphone French (basic), Colloquial French, The French Experience (BBC), Rocket French (software) and Living Language Ultimate French (Basic-Intermediate). They range in price from about $30 to $300. If in doubt, go for Teach Yourself, because they have been specially designed for self-learners.

You need to use your language course for at least an hour a day, in focussed study. You should also transfer the phrases and words in each unit of the course to flash-cards, or to an easily portable notebook you can carry around and learn from whnever you get a free moment. Youd be surprised how much you can learn in a traffic queue, or while waiting in line at the bank.

Finally, you need to immerse in the French language as much as you can. If you want to see remarkanble progress in your ability to learn French quick, I recommend you also get yourself a copy of the Immersion Protocol available through the Ultralearn webiste and at worldlanguagelearning.com/immersion_protocol.html Immersion is a poorly understood concept by most, and one that is quoted so freely by language tour operators and course creators, but it is rarely done properly.

Use the information above and you will be well on your way to learning French quick!

Learning a language is one thing, but learning to speak it like a native speaker is quite something else! While French is notoriously difficult for foreigners to pronounce perfectly, it is possible if you set your mind to the task, and you have reliable advice to follow. In this article, I offer such advice, which will help you to improve your French pronunciation enormously.

Learning to speak French like a native French speaker? Can it be done?

There are several factors that are to be considered if learning to speak French like a native is in your sights. We are going to examine those factors that are essential if you are going to give yourself a fighting chance of achieving this rather ambitious goal.

The first factor, and an essential one, has nothing to do with the study of French itself. This factor is your mindset. If you are just starting out, you have a long way to go, and there will be challenges and frustrations along the way, for sure!

There will even be times when you feel like giving up, but dont! Im not telling you this to put you off, I just want you to know that learning to speak French like a native is a challenging task. If you enter the task with a massively strong resolve, you have a better chance of succeeding than most.

Next, you must undertake a course of hard study, or rather applied and focussed study over a long period of time. Start from the basics using a course that provides an opportunity for advancement in the language. You need a good, solid basic course with an audio component. Work at the language learning grammar, vocabulary, phrases and idioms, and use any opportunity you can to practise your French with others, preferably native French speakers.

Now lets look at the two elements that will make you sound more French. Taking it as read that you have acquired an excellent, practical knowledge of the French language, you will need to concentrate on perfecting your pronunciation, intonation and fluency.

Improving pronunciation and intonation comes through listening to French, repeating what you hear into a recording device, and picking out the minute details between your pronunciation and that of the native speakers. This should be done over time, as adjustments to ponunciation are only really effectively carried out over time. Listen also for the pitch and tone (the intonation) and emulate that too.

That just leaves fluency, and that can be improved through immersion and usage of the langauge, as well as intensive practice at home. Put simply, a high degree of fluency means that you can select the correct language you require fast, and use it to express your ideas without hesitation nor error. Before trying to increase fluency, make sure of your accuracy in French, and then practise, practise, practise!

In conclusion, if you are set on learning to speak French like a native, you can certainly come very close with the correct application to the task
