As someone who has learned both Spanish and French over the course of about seven years, I realize the ups and downs that are associated with learning a language. Inspiration and a thirst for learning a new language comes first. It sounds like a sales pitch for a self-help book, I know, but with like a lot of major commitments, the payout is truly staggering.

Before you research the available language products or attempt to find the “easiest” way to learn to speak French, you have to realize that a half-hearted attempt at learning any new language will result in a waste of time and money. Whether you are learning French for a new job, a personal interest or for school, the ability to stick with it is the single most important part of learning a language. You have to learn the French language in the most comprehensive way unless you want all of your hard work to be in vain.

Prior to committing to learning hundreds of verbs in a foreign language and constructing sentences in an entirely different way, ask yourself if you really have the time, patience and resources to learn the French language. The answer could truly save you hundreds of dollars and allow you to learn the language in a better, more suitable time within your life. The best advice I can give you is to learn to speak French on your own terms.
